We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional to maintain and oversee the fabric, facilities and equipment for multi-site sports and leisure facilities in the Watford area. You will have experience in looking after a large facility where planned maintenance schedules are delivered and executed effectively and safely.

The job involves operating pool plantequipment including water testing and backwashing, a pool plant qualification would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the right individual. Also involved is general maintenance of building fabric, services and equipment.

Qualified to ONC level in an engineering discipline or equivalent you will have a good knowledge of Health and safety issues as they relate to the role and be pro-active in your approach to problem solving and customer needs. A current mechanical qualification would be an advantage.

tenders for new projects produced as necessary; monthly profit reports against budgets; client valuations; variation claims; contractual paperwork; timely enquiries for sub contract packages
well negotiated, defined and competetive appointment of sub -contractors; sub-contractors cost control and variation paperwork;
sub-contractors payment and paperwork.
Visit sites to maintain contract and check on site produced paperwork, valuation of sub-contractor works, accuracy of material call-off orders and assess feedback on sub-contractor performance and documentation.

You will be responsible for the efficient and effective running of this busy Hard Rock and Coated Unit.
